StevenDouglas Promotes Ross Cohen to Managing Director with Continued Focus on Financial Services Expansion

Ft. Lauderdale, Florida – January 25, 2023 – StevenDouglas promotes Ross Cohen to Managing Director of the Financial Services Search Division as part of a continued commitment to offer best-in-class, specialized search services to their growing roster of Financial Services clients across all asset classes. Cohen will be responsible for continuing the growth of the firm’s practice in the Investment Banking, Private Equity, Hedge Fund, Investment Management, Investor Relations, Corporate Development, Real Estate, and Alternatives arenas. He joined the firm in 2017, playing an indispensable role in building StevenDouglas’ Financial Services practice in these highly specialized areas. Cohen is ideal to lead in this role since he began his career as an Equity Research Associate at Lazard Capital Markets. He brings direct experience working in the financial sector and comprehensive knowledge of critical, often niche skills needed for high-impact placements.
Last year Brett Nortman joined the firm to co-head the expansion of this practice. Prior to Nortman joining StevenDouglas, Nortman and Cohen worked together at a global executive search firm in New York where they placed senior-level investment professionals across the buy and sell-side.
