Christopher Griffin covers all facets of the Global Financial Markets business, including hedge fund, private equity, principal investment banking sales and trading, structured finance, and research, working on the Financial Services Search team at StevenDouglas. His clients consist of Buy and Sell-side institutions transacting globally across asset classes. Additionally, he has worked with distinguished global firms to assist them with internal business development. Christopher has a broad expertise, with over 20 years of recruiting experience specializing in high-level placements such as senior management, portfolio management, desk heads, divisional managers, investment banking, sales, trading, strategy, and research.

Christopher is renowned for his comprehensive industry knowledge and deep network that he built over his time in the Financial Services space. He gained many skills and contacts while orchestrating multiple, notable team moves, as well as helping to build trading divisions of prominent global banks. Previously, Christopher ran his own international global recruiting firm before leaving the industry for a period to work internally at a pioneering e-commerce company. His previous roles and responsibilities make him a trusted advisor for both clients and candidates navigating the various transitions and needs that are part of the Financial Services landscape.

Christopher majored in Economics and Psychology with a Mathematics minor at Syracuse University. He is quite active with Big Brothers Big Sisters NYC both as a mentor and with fundraising. He and his brother were chosen to address Congress regarding grass root solutions to inner city problems, something they are both incredibly passionate about.
