Carl joins StevenDouglas as the Managing Director in the Mid-Atlantic-D.C. area, with a focus in Technology Search and Staffing and expertise in the IT Recruiting sector and Staffing Industry since 1995. He also has previous experience in sales, management, and regional management, working in IT, Finance & Accounting, and Human Resources throughout his career.

Carl has a distinct aptitude in talent retention, with great success developing and building new teams. His passion for recruiting and his priority in relationship development enables him to ensure the best match for both clients and candidates alike.

Carl brings a deep understanding of the region and is continuously developing his network in the Mid-Atlantic and D.C. areas. Having been born and raised in Washington, D.C., Carl is invested in the success of his community and wants to see the companies he works with locally and across the Mid-Atlantic thrive. He has experience in both the commercial and Federal space, with extensive knowledge in government businesses and contracts, building a network over the years to serve those specific needs.
Carl studied Business at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and dedicates his time to the American Cancer Society and the Damon Runyon Cancer Research. His support to these organizations is near and dear to his heart, as he is a cancer survivor who’s lost both his father and mother-in-law to cancer.
