Cristina Bajandas joins StevenDouglas as a Senior Recruiter for the Technology Staffing division in South Florida. She began her career in recruiting in 2005 for the travel and leisure industry, where she fell in love with the ability to change people’s lives by helping people from all backgrounds. And in 2009 she took that passion and transitioned into a career in the IT sector, giving her an expansive background recruiting for all types and sizes of corporations, including Fortune 500 as well as the private and public sector organizations.

Cristina’s experience includes training recruiters, leading teams and client management, and she excels in being able to understand the most critical variables when identifying the right talent for her clients’ needs. Throughout her career Cristina has specialized in placing Project Managers, Program Managers and Business Analyst, and over the past decade her reach and ability to match the right technical background along with the right personality to the right employer, has evolved to working with various roles, including Developers, Cloud experts, Data and Business Intelligence professionals and more.

Cristina’s true passion is people. She believes to be a great recruiter you have to connect with people, listen and understand what they need and want from their career in order to connect the dots and be able to help people achieve their career objectives and professional growth. For her, there is nothing more rewarding than making the perfect match between a candidate and a client, that allows for an immediate positive impact to both parties.

Cristina has a degree in Psychology from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN. She is proud of her Puerto Rican heritage, and is fully bilingual.
