Daniel Meltzer is an up-and-coming Senior Recruiter in Finance & Accounting Search at StevenDouglas, with a comprehensive education in F&A and initial experience with the Big 4. He brings a deep understanding of internal accounting processes and niche financial specialties. Having spent time in public accounting, Daniel is able to quickly relate to what candidates are looking for in their next opportunity. He is adept at aligning both client and candidate needs, with a strong business acumen and grasp of accounting concepts, including but not limited to: GAAP, IFRS, SOX, cost accounting, investment accounting, audit, internal controls, risk compliance, financial statement preparation, and other specialties.

Daniel is always determined to make relationship building a top priority and lives by the sentiment, “It is never about me”. He uses his acute listening skills and effective communication to understand exactly what the candidate and client both need to create the best matches that deliver long-term results. His experience is focused on the business needs of our clients as well as his candidates, allowing him to practice those strengths. Daniel holds a degree in Accounting with a minor in Finance from the University of North Florida. He also has a Master of Accounting degree from Saint Leo University.
