Lauren Maher

Manager of Recruiting

Lauren Maher is a Manager of Recruiting in the Project Resources and Search Staffing Division of Steven Douglas Associates. She began her recruiting career with a Cisco Certified Partner in Washington, D.C. where she recruited for internal positions as well as government contracts on a project-based basis. Lauren then moved on to work for a boutique technology staffing firm where she received her training and developed her unique recruiting abilities. Lauren has a mix of corporate recruiting as well as agency recruiting experience which helps her understand the hiring process full circle.

She has recruited for a wide range of different skill sets in her career but most recently has been heavily focused on technology. Lauren specializes in the recruitment of high-demand skill sets including but not limited to Software Developers, Project Managers, Business Analysts, Infrastructure Engineers, Full-Stack Developers, Managers and Directors. She has successfully placed individuals in small, medium-sized and Fortune 500 companies throughout the country. She offers a transparent and consultative approach and acts as a trusted career counselor to candidates.

Lauren earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Frostburg State University in Psychology and is a certified spin instructor. Her philanthropy work includes participation and donating to Make A Wish Charity events yearly. When she’s not recruiting or in spin class she can be found spending time with her husband and two kids.
