Scot Donovan joins StevenDouglas as a Director of Client Services in Technology Staffing serving the Texas market, bringing decades of recruiting experience with a stellar track record of strong performance and creating successful outcomes. He has proven expertise in the technology discipline, specializing in delivering on technology roles across Data, Infrastructure/Ops, Software, Mobile, and Application Development/EPMO/QA and Test. Additionally, after 9/11, Scott launched Midwest Military Recruiters with his two brothers, working for over 8 years supporting service men and women with their transition out of the military into the civilian workforce.

Scot takes pride in the long-term relationships, and the genuine friendships he builds with his clients and candidates alike. He has developed these partnerships on the foundation of integrity, trust, humility, and discipline. Scot is driven by his genuine desire to be an exceptional partner to his clients and really cares for his candidates’ futures, always taking their best interests into account by considering their goals and career aspirations. He truly believes that when you have care and consideration for the needs of both clients and candidates, everyone wins.

Scot’s career has taken a unique path, including playing in the MLB as a pitcher for the Cleveland Indians. He’s passionate about supporting his local food Service Center in Austin, stocking shelves, sorting clothing, distributing food, and has been supporting his local firefighters/fire stations every Thanksgiving over the last 20 years.
